Hello and welcome to my website of me! S.G. Tasz, writer of urban fantasy, dark comedy, and what I’m now calling contemporary gothic fiction. Here you will find my books, updates on new releases, upcoming appearance dates, and whatever else I have to share!

A little about me:

  • I’m originally from the Midwest. Minnesota, then Wisconsin, then Minnesota again. Then, upon realizing I don’t *need* to live in a place that freezes your nostrils shut eight months of the year, I moved across the country to my long-time second home of Las Vegas. Barring family emergencies or literally running out of water, I don’t see myself leaving here anytime soon.
  • I published my first piece of writing at the age of eleven. I wrote a poem for a class that was selected to be a part of a regional student anthology, at which point I retired from poetry, knowing that this was the highest accolade a poem of mine was likely to receive. However, I still have a copy of that anthology. As you can see, I was a bit dark even then.
  • I am a multimedia writer. During my arguably 20+ year tenure, I’ve written everything from plays and movies to short stories and, of course, novels. Most recently I completed an eight-book dark urban fantasy series, Dead Mall.
  • My new book, Death by Miss Adventure is now available on Amazon in paperback, e-book, and Kindle Unlimited. To be first on the scene for future installments, you can follow my journey from drafting to publication by subscribing to my newsletter below.

I love:

  • Black cats
  • Reuben sandwiches
  • Pumpkin Pie (all year long)
  • Ghost Adventures
  • Ghostbusters
  • Ghost Hunters
  • Basically anything with ghosts

If you see me at an event, feel free to ask me about:

  • Haunted Las Vegas
  • D&D and/or Magic: The Gathering
  • True Crime Television
  • News and gossip about the Green Bay Packers, the Vegas Golden Knights, or (more recently) F1 Racing.

The three things that irk me the most are:

  • Loud chewing
  • Customer service auto-replies, especially from big corporations
  • Overly complicated vanity license plates. Or overly simple ones. Do you need everyone on the road to know how much you like COOKIES or VAMPIRES or SK8TES by slapping it on your car? WHY???

Anyways…

Welcome and Enjoy The Show!
